Prof. Oğuzhan Yılmaz received his Ph.D. Degree in 2006 from the School of Mechanical, Materials and Manufacturing Engineering and Operation Management of The University of Nottingham, UK. He involved many Rolls-Royce plc and EPSRC funded research projects as a post graduate researcher and post-doc researcher in Nottingham University RollsRoyce Technology Centre (UTC). He also supervised national funded academic and industrial TUBITAK and privately funded research projects in Turkey. He worked for Gaziantep University from 2007 to 2015. He affiliated as Professor in Gazi University in 2017. He is the head of Advanced Manufacturing Technologies Research Group (AMTRG). His research interests are additive manufacturing, WAAM, advanced manufacturing processes and repair technologies.
He is currently Editor-in-Chief of The journal of the faculty of engineering and architecture of Gazi University (SCI-E indexed). Associate Editor of The Journal of Machine Design and Production.
He is working in Excellency and Knowledge of Turkish Additive Manufacturing (EKTAM) Centre and executive board member of welding and joining technologies research and application centre. Prof.Yılmaz is currently the founder member of Turkish Additive Manufacturing Association (TAMA) and co-chair of AMCTURKEY 2019 and AMCTURKEY 2021 Conferences.

Mustafa Kaş received his B.S degree from the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Gaziantep University (2016). His undergraduate research was assembly of two seat experimental plane at aviation area. His M.S. degree in Department of Mechanical Engineering at Gazi University (2019). His master thesis is focused on the topology optimization designs with cellular structures for additive manufacturing Currently, he is a PhD student at Gazi University and his thesis is focused Direct Energy Deposition (DED). His research areas additive manufacturing, topology optimization and generative design. He is working as a research assistant at Mechanical Engineering at Gazi University.

Mehmet Mollamahmutoğlu received his B.S degree from the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Gazi University (2009) and his M.S. degree in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at Oklahoma State University (2012). His graduate research was based on hydrodynamic and thermal behaviour of two-phase flow in inclined pipes. Currently, he is a PhD student at Gazi University and his thesis is focused on melt pool modeling, residual stresses and microstructures in Selective Laser Melting Process.His research areas computational heat transfer, additive manufacturing technologies, modeling and algorithm development. He is working as a research engineer at Gazi University.

Ahmet Suat Yıldız received his B.S degree from the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Çukurova University and his M.S. degree in Automotive Engineering at University of Applied Sciences Ingolstadt. His graduate research was based on “Numerical Investigation of Different Positions for Evaluating the Dummy Injury Criteria in Front Crash. Currently, he is a PhD student at Gazi University and his thesis is focused on metallurgical and mechanical investigation of wire arc additive manufacturing parts. His research areas thermo mechanical engineering, material science and wire arc additive manufacturing. He is working as a senior manufacturing engineer at FNSS Defense Systems.

Ayşe Kübra Yıldız received her B.S degree from the Department of Mechanical Engineering (2012 ) and also Department of Civil Engineering (2011) at Gazi University and her M.S. degree in Department of Mechanical Engineering at Gazi University (2015). E. Buğra Türeyen received his B.S and M.S degrees from the Department of Mechanical Engineering at İ.D. Bilkent University in 2013 and 2016 respectively. His graduate research subject was "Development of an iterative learning controller for polymer based micro-stereolithography prototyping systems". Currently, he is a PhD student at Gazi University and his research areas include wire arc additive manufacturing (WAAM), laser based powder bed additive manufacturing (SLM) and electron beam melting (EBM) techniques. M.Enes GEBEL received his B.S degree from the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Kocaeli University (2015) and his M.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering at Kahramanmaras Sütçüimam University (2018). His graduate research was based on development of an additive manufacturing method for manufacturing continuous fiber reinforced polymer matrix composite part . Mehmet Emin BADIR

Mehmet Emin Badir is a senior researcher and has been working at TUBITAK Uzay for more than 6 years.
His research interests and experiences are structural and mechanical design of satellite parts, metal
additive manufacturing (SLM and FDM/FFF), topology optimization, environmental vibration testing,
structural, modal and vibration analysis by using CAE. In addition to those, his approach for novel areas
can be defined as, being welcome for topics related to additive manufacturing technologies.
He received his B.Sc. degree from the department of Mechanical Engineering at Gazi University in 2014
His undergraduate research focused on examination the air flow characterization of drone propellers
and relationship between blade form and the air flow characterization. Gathering work experience from
the industry, he has started to be interested in Additive Manufacturing technologies for achieving better
spare parts for aerospace industry. In 2017, he began studying additive manufactured components for
satellite structures, and he formed his research proposal under this topic, as being his master thesis
study. After an intense and collaborative working under Prof. Dr. Oguzhan Yilmaz’s advisory, he
successfully developed a metal AM satellite bracket produced by powders bed fusion methods
(DMLS/SLM) in 2019 The qualification process was also successfully completed which makes this unique

Mahmut Özer has recieved his B.S. degree from the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Pamukkale University (2014) and his M.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering at N. Erbakan University (2018). His graduate research was about investigation effect of Fe2O3 nanoparticles on mechanical properties of laminated polymer composite part. Currently, he is PhD student at Gazi University and researching on improving fatigue performance of additively manufactured Ti6Al4V parts through laser shock peening process. He has two papers about polymer composite materials and his working topics are additive manufacturing, laser surface treatments, composite materials.
Merve YILDIZ
Merve Yıldız received her B.S degrees from the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Gazi University in 2017. Her graduate research subject was "Cutting Tool Design for Carbon Fibre Composites Machining". Currently, she is a MS student at Gazi University and her research areas "Topology Optimization Design for Additively Manufactured (SLM) Parts Based on Random Vibration". She is working as an Analysis and Design Engineer since 2017. Her research interests and experiences are structural and mechanical design, metal additive manufacturing, topology optimization, environmental vibration testing, structural, modal, shock and random vibration analysis.
Muhammed KURT, Msc

Muhammet Kurt graduated from Gazi University at 2018 as a mechanical engineer. His graduation project was based on measurement and assesment of turbulence intensity of Ankara Rüzgar Tüneli (Ankara Wind Tunnel) and the project was studied with Tübitak Sage.
He is working as a mechanical design engineer at Aselsan since 2019 and he is a M.Sc student at Gazi University at the same time. His M.Sc thesis is based on ultrasonic additive manufacturing.
